Most office workers start their work at 8:00 a.m. But most people don't go home for lunch, most people take a lunch box and eat it at work. Most people work for more than 8 hours (this is a real downer!). Most people don't have a big meal in the evening, some people do, but what most people usually have for dinner is a smaller portion of what was left from lunch, or else, a hot drink like tea or coffee together with cheese, butter or ham sandwiches.
Children go to school in the morning. They arrive at around 7:50, and so do their teachers. Classes finish at about 3:30 p.m. Most young people leave school at sixteen, but some may study the International Baccalaureate, that takes them two years of school studies more.
Most shops don't stay open 24 hours a day, shops close at 10:00 or 11:00 in the evening. Most shops don't close at lunchtime. And neither do banks. Workers leave for lunch at different turns. Some local stores close for lunch on Sundays, though. But most shops are open on Sundays, big shops like supermarkets and department stores have a regular working schedule on Sundays.
